ME: Hey S Dot BeatZ for the people that don’t know you would you like to tell them a little about yourself?
SDB: Yeah, My real name is Sam Hazell, I am an 18 year old music producer from London, England. I have been producing since 2006.
ME: What genre are you more likely to produce?
SDB: The main genres I produced are R’n'B and Hip Hop but I like to experiment with my production, so I’m constantly trying different genres like Pop, Jazz, Reggae, Techno, Electro etc.
ME: What do you like to do in your spare time?
SDB: In my spare time I’m either making music or I’m promoting my music. The newest song I have out is a song by Joon Jukx (http://www.reverbnation.com/joonjukx) titled “Broke My Heart” which both me and Joon Jukx produced. ME: Where are you from?
SDB: I’m from South East London, England.
ME: Who is your favorite artist?
SDB: I have quite a few favourite artists; Chris Brown, AZ, Game, Dr, Dre, Vado, Suga Free and many more!
ME: What made you want to become a music producer?SDB: Back in 2006 I was chilling with some of my friends and they made music, so I went to one of their studios and I started watching how they were making music on the software FL Studio (Fruity Loops), so one day I went home and I downloaded the trial version of FL, then within a few days I had made my first beat, which was awful. Then I bought the full version of FL and I kept learning more and more about FL and I got better at it.
ME: Who are some of your influences in the music industry?
SDB: The artists who I can listen to and instantly get inspired by are Dr. Dre, Pete Rock, Dj Premier, Oak, The Underdogs and Stargate.
ME: Who would you like to work with? (music wise)
SDB: I would like to work Chris Brown, Stargate, Game, AZ, Ma$e, Dr. Dre and anyone who is doing their thing!
ME: Do you have any upcoming anticipations coming up?
SDB: Yeah, I have my own mixtape coming out called The Daymare: The Vault. All songs on the mixtape will be produced by me. Aside from that I’m working on more tracks with Joon Jukx. I have produced a track on Six9′s new mixtape “Mary Jane” and I have some new songs coming soon by Nasar.
ME: What do you have planned for the new year?
SDB: I got loads of new music coming out, Magazine/newspaper shoots, the website SDBWORLD coming soon, mixtapes and much more!
ME: Here are some play around questions for you. Whats your favorite food?
SDB: My favourite food has gotta be Spicy beef and mushroom pizza but only from Pizza Hut!
ME: Whats your favorite show?
SDB: Two and a half men, Charlie Sheen is an animal.
ME: Whats your favorite movie?
SDB: It’s either The Hangover or Soul Plane. Both are great movies!
ME: What you prefer iPhone or Blackberry?
SDB: Neither, I love my Android phones. So Android haha
